What our customers say about us ….

12 April 2024

One of your drivers,Tony, took us yesterday to Newtown Powys. I would like to compliment Tony and your company for the high standard that we encountered yesterday.

We were a party of Parkinson sufferers and their carers.

Tony was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was an excellent driver and very friendly and reliable.

I will keep your company as my first choice if I organise coach hire again and will recommend your company to other people.

Thank you again.

Ruth Smith.

Compliment . 11.03.24

11 March 2024

I am contacting you on behalf of The Contemporary Arts Society for Wales (CASW) with regard to our recent visit to Newcastle organised through the Greatdays Travel group.

Everything worked so well with the coach from Mainline and it was always clean and comfortable. In particular I wanted to express our thanks and gratitude to your driver Mark Gawmon. His driving was impeccable and he was always so very helpful, informative and accommodating with regard to our requests and requirements. I know that he did a lot of research to make sure that he could get the coach as close as possible to the places that we visited on the tour. What is more he was friendly and humorous and a pleasure to work and be with throughout the week.

Mainline News Brief – August 22

KidsOut Trip to Oakwood for the children of Ysgol Y Deri, Penarth.

On the 23 June, Mainline Coaches were delighted to support Dinas Powys Rotary Club a wonderful day out to Oakwood for two coaches of school children from Ysgol Y Deri, Penarth. The trip was part of the national Rotary KidsOut scheme, which has resumed after a long gap caused by COVID.

Thanks to the money raised at Dinas Powys Rotary’s very successful Classic Car Show, held in Sully on May 29th, twice as many children were able to take part in the trip this year, including those who missed out last summer.

A great day was had by all, the weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot!

Mainline Support for Ukraine refugees trip to Porthcawl

On 28th July Mainline Coaches were delighted to offer free coach travel to Ukrainian Refugees for a day trip from their residence in Newport to the coastal resort of Porthcawl

Chris Mainwaring , Managing Director of Mainline Coaches, said: “The events in Ukraine have shocked us all, and we know lots of people will be affected in different ways. Our Staff felt that they wanted to do something positive to help, and by offering free coach travel for this day trip, we hope to support the efforts being made by other organisations to give these refugees a welcome, enjoyment and a home.”

Mainline coach driver Mike also helped by arranging free entrance and food at the Porthcawl Fun Fair for the refugees and with traditional Welsh sunny weather a great day was enjoyed by all.
