On Monday 2nd August we hired four Mainline Coaches to Transport VIP passengers and crew from the World Cruise ship docked in Cardiff to a Garden Party at Purley on Thames, Berkshire.
I would like to congratulate your company on their standards & professionalism, your coaches were immaculate and all of your crews were well presented, efficient, helpful & friendly.
Although I would like you to accept my personal thanks, I would also like to pass on the thanks of His Excellency who made a point of thanking me (following several comments from the guests) for the excellent service we provided.
I sincerely hope we are in a position to work with your Company & hopefully the same crews in the future.

Following our trip with Mainline Coaches to Spain I feel I have to write with regards to the drivers that were with me this year. I have been working in this field for around ten years with different companies and have come across a number of drivers both good and bad. It is safe to say that the two drivers that made the journey with me this year were the best I’ve come across. Both Jason and Mike are a credit to your company and deserve a great deal of praise.
From the outset they were both welcoming and accomodating to us as staff, ensuering we were happy with all arrangements. This happy and helpfull tone continued throughout the week and they certainly made my job easier. This helpfullnes is certainly not unique within your drivers as the same can be said of almost all of your drivers that have come on journeys with me. However what set these two apart was their willingness to interact with the group as a whole and to get involved with all activities. Wherever we went and whatever we did they were happy to be a part of it. Every excursion we went on they joined in. Even when we were on site they joined in with the activities with both of them making up the numbers for one of the football teams in our tournament. There tone and manner with the young people was perfect and I know that each and every one of them were greatfull.
Please ensure that this praise is passed on to both of them and let them know that I hope to see them again on another journey in the near future.

In October 2009 Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland held their annual conference in Cardiff with 1600 women attending over 3 days.
We used Mainline Coach Hire to take over 800 women each evening from their hotels around the city to the Cardiff International Arena and back again.
On the Saturday, 1600 women were taken to the Cardiff Millennium Centre at lunchtime for an event and back again later.
I can't praise Mainline (especially Chris, Colin and all staff involved) highly enough for their planning, (including taking me in a coach on a 'dummy run' around all the routes and hotels) organisation, flexibility, patience, helpfulness, kindness, tolerance and good humour. They were brilliant! They worked closely with staff at the CIA to organise and move these hundreds of professional women as efficiently as they possibly could!
I cannot recommend them strongly enough to anyone needing one or many more coaches for any event. We hope to use them to take folk from South Wales to our next annual conference in Manchester!

As a tour guide, I very much appreciated your company's input into my 3 separate 7- day South West England tours this Summer with German tourists. Phil was my driver on each occasion and the feedback and general good humour of all who travelled with us was so very positive I want you to know what an outstanding driver he proved to be on each tour. Always smart, full of fun and very aware of the passengers' needs, Phil really turned an ordinary week tour into something special for the Germans - many remarked on what an unforgettable week they had spent in our company!
Many also passed comments on the overall cleanliness on his coach - the windscreen always freshly cleaned, no greasy hair marks on the passenger windows and the seats & floors spick & span.
Believe me, I have worked in many hundreds of tour coaches but Mainline really shines as a family run business - please keep up the good work!
I look forward to working with Mainline once again in the 2010 season.

Yesterday your company took 50 children and 5 adults to see the Lion King in London. I'm sure you were aware that the M4 was closed the whole morning.
We thought our day would be a disaster! It wasn't !!
Far from it. Your driver Peter did his utmost to get us to the Theatre on time using alternative roads. The seats this year were the best ever!

Just to say a big thank you for organising our coach to Gatwick Airport for this years group trip abroad to Italy and picking us up at Bristol Airport 2 weeks later.
Everything went very well as usual on our trips and the group had a wonderful holiday.

I would like to take a moment to thank you both for a very successful tour to Ireland. Days Park West was a superb choice of hotel. The rooms and food were of a very high quality and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly.
A very special mention to Eddie our driver who was accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful throughout the tour. He performed his role at a very high standard and was extremely supportive in my role as tour organiser. Furthermore his driving skills were of an extremely high standard. We very much enjoyed his company and look forward to meeting him again.

We would just like to thank you for providing the coach for our wedding weekend on the 15th to the 17th of August, 2008. It was perfect, with plenty of room for all of our guests and with all the facilities needed for a comfortable journey to and from Scotland. We had an amazing weekend which will always be remembered by ourselves and our guests. We would like to thank Peter and Linda for being very friendly and helpful and for being so easy going. We were able to pick up and drop people off exactly where we needed to and they were very punctual for both legs of the journey.

I have just returned from a group holiday to the Black Forest Region of Germany, with Mainline. I would like take this opportunity to Thank everyone at Mainline who ran the Trip to Germany, the Drivers worked way beyond the call of their duties and made not only my holiday but also everyone else’s holidays exceptional. These two guys were absolutely great. The buses were at the Hotel waiting for us bright and early and were driven with our comfort and safety in mind.
I would also like to say a BIG thank you to our drivers, my drivers were Mike & Paul and were absolutely superb!
Mike was very safety conscious and also served all our members with drinks on the way up and both drivers were happy and positive and told us lots as we approached London and then again on the way home. My manager who was on the other bus said that her drivers were just the same!

I write to you following our recent visit to France (May 12th - 16th) where the coach for this visit was provided by your company. We received excellent service from the coach driver Mr Collin Bailey. Mr. Bailey conducted himself in an extremely professional manner, was friendly and courteous and extremely helpful throughout the 4 days.
